1) I've been busy with studying for exams

Re-opening of fancypop!!

Perspex Orb Star and Heart Necklace from Vivienne Westwood

Perhaps one of the most recognizable of Vivienne Westwood's designs is the orb, which is also used as the logo. There are many different variations of the orb, fashioned into other accessories such as earrings, bracelets, keychains, and many others. Here is an interesting color choice which I think works quite well with the design.

Once again, searching for goodies on Etsy proved to be difficult, but it was well worth it finding this little beaut. Sterling silver moon charm with a star-shaped pearl and a violet quartz briolette. I think it's very fitting for both day or evening wear. Love its simplicity.

I am in love with Tsumori Chisato. Her designs are always very cute and whimsical. Her style is very distinct and recognizable, you always know its hers when you see it.

"kumoneko" ("kumo" means cloud, and "neko" means cat), as this dress is called, has glitter gold clouds, cats and a few stars printed on black silk.

Stars and Skies Wire Wrapped Ring from Swagg Jewelry

I love handmade stuff and I really admire people who have these wonderful ideas and are able to actually materialize their ideas. With that said, I'm sure most of you already know about Etsy, a place where you can find many handmade items.

Whenever I'm on Etsy, I punch in a few keywords to try to find something I'd like. Today, I really wanted to find a "star necklace", but I was disappointed that nothing I thought was good came up. Then I tried "star earrings" and "star bracelet", but still no luck. Finally I searched for "star ring" and got this little cutie.

Don't get me wrong, I still love Etsy. It just takes a lot of patience to sift through some of the less pleasant looking things. Then again, I guess we all have different tastes...

Sterling silver wire, Swarovski crystals, and freshwater star pearls. That pacific blue color is one of my favorite colors, that color makes anything work!
